Which Prayer Book does Common Hours use?

The 1979 Book of Common Prayer used in the United States, with its Psalter and Daily Office Lectionary. Lessons are from the World English Bible, a public-domain modern translation, including the Apocrypha.

Why is a feast on a different day this year?

The Prayer Book moves (transfers) most Holy Days that fall on a Sunday, or in Holy Week or Easter Week, to the next open day. Common Hours does this for you and shows “Transferred from …” on the day.

Can I change which canticles, collects or readings are used?

Yes. Settings › Morning & Evening Prayer and Settings › Psalms, Readings & Canticles hold every rubrical choice. In any office, tap ⋯ › Choices for one-time changes.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Settings › About & Sources › Restore Purchases. Family members in your Family Sharing group get Pro too.

How do I cancel my subscription?

On iPhone or iPad: Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Common Hours. On Mac: App Store › your name › Account Settings › Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
