Common Hours

Privacy Policy

Effective October 7, 2026

Common Hours does not collect any personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no server of ours that your device talks to.

What stays on your device

Your settings, intercessions, journal entries, bookmarks and the record of offices you have prayed are stored on your device. If you use Common Hours Pro with iCloud sync, they are stored in your private iCloud database, which only you can access. We cannot see it.

Purchases

Subscriptions and purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We receive no payment details and no personal information from Apple about you.

Network use

The app works offline. It connects to the internet only for: the App Store (purchases), your own iCloud (sync), and, if you choose to download the optional natural voice for read-aloud, a one-time download of the voice model from Hugging Face. No personal information is sent in any of these.

Notifications

Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. Nothing is sent to us.

Children

Common Hours collects no data from anyone, including children.
